Shipping the public site
Cut over from static HTML to Astro and Keystatic, restored career case studies with images, and gave every project a cover and a place to log work in public.
The old site was a static HTML portfolio. It could show career work, but it had no home for side projects and no place to write as I build.
I replaced it with this Astro site. Content lives as Markdown in GitHub. Keystatic edits those files through a GitHub App, and Vercel deploys on every merge. Career case studies keep their images. The sidebar leads with my name and the line I want people to remember. Each project has a cover pulled from the live product, a status, and a build log underneath.
What’s next is keeping the logs honest as the other projects move, and wiring Ghost Writer so a day’s notes can become a draft entry here without a separate writing ritual.
